 Past Tense: O Past Tense, ou tempo passado em inglês, é utilizado para descrever ações ou estados que ocorreram em um momento anterior ao presente. No contexto da Bíblia cristã, muitas narrativas históricas estão no passado. Aqui estão alguns exemplos retirados da Nova Versão Internacional (NVI):   1. Genesis 1:1 (Gênesis 1:1):    - "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."    - "No princípio, Deus criou os céus e a terra."   2. The Greek term for "reason" is apology. That doesn't mean a weak-kneed excuse; it means a convincing argument.
