USANDO TO DEPOIS VERBO GERUNDIO
Normalmente a preposition to é seguida pela forma basica do verbo principal. Mas existem inúmeras exceções a esta regra quando to é seguido por um verbo no gerundio . Vamos dar uma olhada bestas situações. Exemplos: Look forward to + gerundio: I am looking forward to taking a vacation in October. Jack is looking forward to seeing his family in St. Louis next week. We are all looking forward to going to Cathy’s wedding. “Be used to” ou “get used to” + gerundio : Is Jane used to working with her new boss? My sister goes to the gym twice a week, but she isn’t used to exercising yet. It was difficult when I first got here, but now I’m used to driving in NYC. Espero que tenha entendido.
