Simple Present - Negative

Cook

• I do not cook.
• You do not cook.
• We do not cook.
• They do not cook.
• She does not cook.

ABREVIAÇÃO USADAS:                 DO NOT (DON´T)

                                                     DOES NOT (DOESN´T)   

Study

• I don't study English.
• You don't study English.
• We don't study English.
• They don't study English.
• He doesn't study English.

Use 'do not' antes do verbo principal para fazer uma negativa no  Simple Present. A forma contracta é 'don't':

• I do not (don't) eat meat.
• You do not (don't) exercise often.
• We do not (don't) speak Italian.
• They do not (don't) work.

Para a terceira pessoa do singular (he, she, it) use 'does not' (forma contracta 'doesn't') antes do verbo, e não adicione  's' ao verbo:

• He does not (doesn't) teach Italian.
• She does not (doesn't) like dogs.
• It does not (doesn't) rain here often.

Lembre-se que o verbo TO BE não usa O AUXILIAR D0-DOES

• I am not Russian.
• You are not Russian.
• He/she/it is not Russian.
• We are not Russian.
• They are not Russian.
