A resposta será dada: It´s _______.
No caso da hora inteira dizemos a hora e acrescentamos o'clock.
Exemplo: What time is it? (Que horas são?)
It´s ten o'clock. (São dez horas)
Em relação aos periodos do dia:
in the morning - de manhã - It's eight o'clock in the morning.
in the afternoon - a tarde - It´s two o'clock in the afternoon.
in the evening - no final da tarde - It's seven o'clock in the evening.
at night - a noite - It´s ten o'clock at night.
Para indicar que as horas são antes ou depois de meio-dia podemos usar as abreviações a.m. (antes do meio-dia) e p.m. (depois do meio-dia).
It´s ten in the morning - It's ten a.m
It´s seven in the evening - It´s seven p.m
Meio dia: It´s noon
Meia noite: It´s midnight.

9:45 It’s quarter to ten ou It's nine-forty five.
9:50 It’s ten to ten ou It´s nine-fifty.
9:55 It’s five to ten ou It's nine-fifty five.
