Usando TO após GO

I went to the school, then I went shopping.


Algumas vezes a preposição TO é usada logo após alguns verbos, tais como  go, come, walk, etc.(ex: go to the park). Outras vezes não se usa nada (ex: go home).

Exemplos:

Use “to” quando se tratar de um local físico especifico:

• I went to the grocery store.
• She came to school late today.
• I usually walk to the park.

Não usee “to” com um local físico não especifico:

• I came home after class.
• I want to go somewhere fun this weekend.
• I walked downstairs when I heard the doorbell.

Não use “to” com uma atividade terminada por  “ing”:

• 
  
• Let’s go skiing this weekend.
• Can you come fishing with me this summer?
• When are we going shopping?
