   1.  To  go on  is to happen. (acontecer)   Neste sentido é muito usado no "Present Continuous"    'What's  going on ?' =  'What's happening?'.   Examples of use:   a) If you see anything suspicious  going on , telephone the police.   b) The windows are broken.
